Our full day halibut fishing trips are geared towards having fun and fish until every one gets their 2 fish limit. You will want to be prepared for a wonderful day on the water. We have a variety of halibut charter boats to chose from so we are sure to have just the right one for you. The boats include 28' six passengers, 36' six passengers as well as a 50' halibut fishing machine.
$225.00/ larger boat,  $250.00 for 6 pack.  Ask about our early and late season rates.           

 Half day halibut charters. These trips are geared toward the fisherman on a budget or are just short of time. All the half day trips out of Homer are near shore and target 10 to 25 pound fish. 2010 was a very good year for the half day trips as lots of fish were within reach and limit catches were common.
These trips leave at 6:AM and 12:30 PM.
$125.00/person 115.00/seniors $105.00 children under12.

Your halibut fishing charter will begin at the Inlet Charters Across Alaska Adventures office located in the heart of the Homer Spit. Our office is centrally located across the street from the boat harbor and we do ask that you check in the night before your charter if possible. The office opens at 6:AM and closes at 9:PM. We offer full day trips as well as long range multi-day halibut fishing adventures and half day trips.                                                               

Our long range trips are for the halibut fishing enthusiast who wants to go the extra mile and fish where very few people go. Your trip begins at 6:30AM and will travel to the best fishing areas in the Gulf of Alaska. You will start fishing the minute you reach your skippers favorite fishin hole and be able to enjoy a full day of great fishing.  Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be available onboard when ever the halibut fishing slows. That night will be spent in a nearby safe harbor or secluded bay on the Alaska coast close to your next mornings hot spot. Day 2 will consist of fishing until around noon, then start your journey back to the Homer harbor. Small groups of fishermen, {up to a max of 4}  are really ideal for these trips and gives your captain the option to hold out for the "big ones". The Long range boat rate is $2000/ per day for up to 4 fishermen. Includes meals, bait, gear and fish cleaning.

The fishing guides at Inlet Charters are experienced, coast guard licensed and insured ensuring you a safe comfortable day on the water. Your guide will assist you in the proper technique of halibut fishing as well as bait your hooks and take care of your fish. At the end of the day your fish will be filleted and bagged. Custom packaging and shipping is also available.

The average halibut brought in to Homer weighs around 28 pounds but there is always an excellent chance to catch "the big one". Along with the good fishing and beautiful scenery there is a good chance of spotting seals, sea otters, sea lions, puffins as well as whales. All this can ad up to a wonderful day of catching fish and experiencing mother nature in all her grandeur.
