Sea Kayaking! No Experience required! Kayaking is the
most intimate way of experiencing the natural wonders of Kachemak
bay. Soaring bald eagles, playful sea otter pups, seals , sea lions
as well as thousands of nesting sea birds inhabit the protected
waters across the bay. The almost silent travel of a sea kayak will
take y The price is $144.00 per person for guided tours and includes all equipment, transportation from Homer, and sales tax. Half day trips, $100.00

Overnight Sea Kayaking trip!! Experience two different environments on the bay: The first day paddle around the islands exploring coves, sea otters and eagles nests. Camp will be set up at water's edge with beachwalking easily accessible. Spend the next day in Tutka Bay or Sadie Cove, famous for steep snowcapped mountains that descend dramatically to the water. Delicious meals will be prepared by your guide. Leave Homer at 10am and returns the next day at approximately 6pm. Trip includes: All kayak equipment and instruction, guide, water taxi to True North's base camp on Yukon Island and delicious meals prepared by your guide. Wilderness Hiking In Kachemak Bay State Park!!Take an early morning cruise aboard the vessel Seabird to the trails across Kachemak Bay. Day hiking or overnight camping are a great way to explore the park. Morning drop offs at Glacier Spit lead you to a leisurely 3.5 mile hike to the lake at the foot of one of the many glaciers in the Harding Ice Field. The water taxi returns to pick you up on the other end of the trail. This is a great hike and can be made by just about anyone of walking age. Other park trails range from an easy hour long trek through a temperate rain forest to a vigorous alpine climb above timberline. The price for round trip water taxi to Kachemak Bay state park is $60.00 per person Plus a $4.00 park fee.
